Default The Chambers of Lord Baratheon, Master of Laws

Lord Baratheon resides here during his time in King's Landing, as the Master of Laws for King Aegon.

    age: 42 (Born 191 A.L.)
    Married
    Traits (14 pts) Duel +3, Siege +4, Pillager tier 2, Jouster +2 counterspy +1

The interior of the room is fairly spacious, but it is hard to tell as it is crammed with books and scrools, evidence of the Lord's task. He has had a great chair placed near the center of the room, so that he can recieve guests, although normally when people come to see him he is working at one of his desks. A fireplace and great rug maintains a semblance of comfort and homeliness.

A still angered Lord Ormond Westerling arrives. Muttering words

"Humppfff... his mother... son of a... stupid L...I should... dirk"

He requests to see Lord Baratheon.

If I cannot get Goldcloacks help... Well I will not be alone into these roads, filled with bandits... I'll send word to the Crag to assemble a batallion of fine Westerlander Knights, clad in steel... Ha! No one will harm a retinue of two hundred and fifty knigts

When Lord Baratheons guards inform him of the arrival of Lord Westerling, he moves to his seat in the center of the room and recieves him.

"What brings you here, my lord master of coin?"

"My dear Lord Master of Laws, I have to collect the King's taxes, and that will require a quite a long time travelling around the Kingdoms, to every Lord Paramount's seat. However my fifty men at arms won't suffice in this task, as such I requested the King if I could bring with me as escort some of your Goldcloacks, because such a sum will be more than.... desirable by many, and I wouldn't like to see all our precious taxes be thrown into someone's purse, when it should be the King's"

"Did the King have anything to say, or have you simply chosen not trouble him with this... If I find that he already denied your request, then there may be a problem. However, if there has been no denial, I see no reason for you not to bring fifty as an escort."

"I'm sent by the King himself, my Lord. And maybe one hundred will be a more fitting escort, remember they will have to protect a huge sum, desirable even for minor Lords, I have recruited two hundred armoured knights from my homeland, and I don't know if they will suffice! We need all help you can afford, my dear Lord Baratheon, as this task is of the greatest importance"

"Very well, one hundred goldcloaks it will be, and I have recruited some Stormlands troops who shall join you as you leave my lands. I wish you luck and safety Lord Westerling."

He signs a document that entitles the Master of Coin to the promised escort
