How can I restore the old wooden forts for Stainless Steel 6.4?

which one of the many stone forts mods did you used?

if you didnt back up the original SS files, you could just install another copy of SS in a separate folder, then compare the differences and at last copy/remove/tweak the needed files

as for a proper stone fort submod that can be enabled disabled using the Sub Mod Manager, check this thread last page

The stone forts were already in, when I installed Stainless Steel. :S

Well TBH I cannot be entirely sure as i've always used the stonefort minimod but i believe 6.4 doesn't include stone forts by default xD.

anyway check your "M2TW/data" or "Medieval II Total War/data" folder and look if there is any "models_strat" and/or "settlement" folders, if they are there delete them and that should fix your problem.

PS: if you had applied Germanicus5 settlement fixes, install them again after doing this.

What is in the one you have? Stone Forts?
Well if everything fails, there is always the uninstall/reinstall everything...xD yes i know very radical choice, but is most effective to remove any unwanted alteration of the game/mod.

BTW im fairly new to the SS mod, so maybe someone who has been around more time can help you more about this.
