    Default Models (concerns...)

I've got some concerns about the models in MTW2. I'm courios what other modders think.
-Do you think I'll be able to add RTW models in MTW2? After all they would be nothing less then lower poly versions and should be compatibile as long as the engine renders CAS models in the same way. I hope they will so I'd be able to add my RTW models easily with the only need to make multiple textures.
-Do you guys think the pak file from the demo will be encrypted or something so, this way CA won't let us start working with the models they include in the demo? I haven't cought the RTW demo, how was it there? were the pak files from RTW Demo be available for extraction with Verc's Xpak (which didn't existed at that time I know).
I hope they will.... :hmmm:.... oh.... and even if they will we're not going to have how to import them in 3ds max since CA has updated the script!! (we saw this since Alexander). Crap. Just hope Vercingetorix or someone as good as him will still be here to help otherwise we're D... or going to use RTW models. Or what? Am I supposed to hope for CA to release a tool for importing models? good joke

CA has already given us the answer to this. New files, new art system. You can't use RTW models in MTW2.

Of course it will and even if someone cracks it it will be a whole new file for the models which means a whole new way to import them into a 3d modelling proggie.

Damn, no quick conversion of RTW mods, skins or models into the new game then :-/

My guess is that a script will be out sooner or later. I just wonder how the different textures and models (or model parts) come together as a whole unit...
