Looks good. Cannons seem to have a decent range, otherwise it would be pretty hard to get that fortification.
Btw, I wonder if there will be castles that won't fall without direct assault, like in Medieval I? Those were really painful.

Those castle fortifications look awesome. Multiple enclosed walls, single pathway to the fortress. I bet a company of archers on the walls could reak havoc on forces marching up the hill.

i have this giddy yerning to have hugely ranged garrisons in my castles. i love seige assaults for the fact that archers and the like ass-rape. (typically)

The animations of the firing cannons are pretty cool. It looks like siege weapons will have a use when defending a city and not only when attacking as in RTW.

OMG! Did anyone else see the Trebuchets inside the Moorish castle? Finally we can fire back at the horrible besiegers!! Thats gonna be so epic!
