Hi, until last week I was playing Medieval 2 with Stainless Steel 6.4 installed on high settings...

Today I ran game and was running fine but I entered a battle and all the details are low...I've tried changing settings in the menu and the preferences text (of the core game and the mod) and all it seems to do is keep it in low detail.

I've tried altering the details during the battle and the effect is minimal, highest detail looks like low detail...Really odd....I think maybe the driver is confused...Anyway here is my Dx diag

Try reinstalling the graphics drivers. http://support.asus.com/Download.asp...&m=K52JR&os=29 They are not showing in the dxdiag.

If no improvement, post a new dxdiag.

Ok I'll try that, there seems to be a problem in that I cant get Catalyst control to open, that may be the problem

I can't use latest drivers anyway cause the AMD suck balls...last time it stopped my screen working...Assuming its not a driver problem what is it ? it still says N/a to driver details, but I have AMD catalyst 12.8 installed

If you can't even get catalyst to open, I'd try solving that problem first before looking at the M2TW settings.

Try uninstlling the ones you have, run Driver Sweeper in Safe Mode, and reinstall from ASUS' website I linked. Odds are ASUS made them proprietary.
