can there be a way to fix the UI like make it smaller when there's 20 unit cards CA? or make it so it doesnt show and take up soo much space? it takes up alot of space sometimes lol would love it for the ui to get tweaked

Click on the x button and you can have the smallest UI possible, which is invisible. As for modding it as far as I know it is not yet possible at this time (either hardcoded or no one have no knowledge of doing it I do not know).

Thank God I've finally got the funds together to upgrade from my antique 4:3 crappy LCD monitor to 1080p... I too couldn't stand that double row of unit cards taking up a 30% of my battle view, OP...

Its been 5 months and there's still the spacious double row of unit cards control panel. When will it be reduced? Even if you have 40 units, that control panel must not cover such space...

Downsampling shrinks the UI so I'd recommend that, despite making it a little bit blurred. If you reckon you have a PC capable, google it and try it yourself. Also works as a rudimentary form of anti-aliasing.
