[WIP] Musket Breech Smoke

Hello! I'm a very inexperienced modder, so I don't really know what I'm doing. However, one thing I've really, really wanted is smoke emitting from the breech on the musket, or whatever it's called. I found that the pistol effect had that effect, so I messed about with the effects xml which I know NOTHING about and managed to add said vertical firing smoke to the muskets. While it emits from the barrel, from a distance it looks really cool. Adds more volume, I guess.

Anyway, it's hard to explain:

You can see that there's now smoke emitting vertically; though it's more visible in motion, obviously.

I edited DarthMod's version of the BSM, so I'm not entirely sure how to upload it as a mod. Er... if anyone wants to help me out with that, I'll try and upload it.

do you also edited how long the smoke last on the battlefield and so on? or did you just changed the texture for the muskets smoke? what you are calling the breach ist the pan muzzle flash of a musket

Okay, seriously. WHY ISN'T ANYONE REPLYING TO THIS THREAD? I mean, this is AMAZING. This certainly brings the muskets closer to their real-life counterparts! Good job man. May i ask if i could get your sub-mod and see how you did it? Does the pan really emit smoke?

Try a PM to the OP, have him zip the edited Darth BSM pack and attach to his first post, then people can take a look in game
