Default Adding Aspis Companion Cavalry to Egypt

Hi, I am just wondering how to make a unit available to another faction for recruitment and in custom battles. Historically, Aspis Companion cavalry belonged to the Ptolemies, yet they have no access in game to them. If anyone can tell me how to add them, that would be great.

Default Re: Adding Aspis Companion Cavalry to Egypt

Open the file pack manager and select File > My Mods > New and name it whatever you want and just okay everything
Select Files > Add > From Pack...
    In Steam/SteamApps/common/Total War Rome II/data open data_rome2
Expand data_rome2, expand dp and double click to add the units_custom_battle_permissions and units_to_groupings_military_permissions tables
In both tables delete all the rows except the first one. Just shift click the numbers in the first column to select everything
In units_custom_battle_permissions under faction select rom_ptolemaics and under unit select Gre_Aspis_Companion_Cav then check the siege_unit_attacker and siege_unit_defender boxes. If you want to enable the unit to have a general copy/paste the row into a second row and check the general_unit box
In units_to_groupings_military_permissions under unit select Gre_Aspis_Companion_Cav and under military_group select ptolemaic
~If you want to use them as a commander unit in the campaign, add commander_unit_permissions from rome_data2/db, delete every row except the first, under faction_key type rom_ptolemaics and under unit_key select Gre_Aspis_Companion_Cav
Select Postprocess > Rename > Rename All
Type Aspis_ (or whatever you want as long as there is an underscore at the end) and click okay
    Select Files > Save
Select Files > My Mods > Install

That should be it. Just make sure when you run rome 2 you have it enabled in the mod manager.
