The Tower of the Hand, chambers of Lord Stark, Hand of the King.

The Tower of the Hand contains the chambers of the Hand of the King. Its Small Hall is a long room with a high-vaulted ceiling and bench space for two hundred. The private audience chamber is not as large as the king's, but has Myrish rugs, wall hangings, and a golden-tinted round window that give it a sense of intimacy. The Tower also has a solar, and a garderobe. The tower has tall windows.

Lord Torrhen Stark

Lord Torrhen Stark Age: 37 Skills (12 total): +3 Duels(+11 from Ice) + 3 Field Battles +2 Survival +3 Income +1 Sieges Bio: The Lord of Winterfell and warden of the North, was born the third child of the late Lord Brandon. In his youth he and his brothers received martial training but only the eldest was taught how to be a Lord, infuriated at the prospect of never likely inheriting anything he started studying Lordship and management himself hoping one day to rule his own castle. As his brothers grew either merry or hot headed Torrhen remained grim focusing on his studies most of all, it came to him as no surprise that when their father passed away Eddard was the one that became Lord of the North. Oddly enough he was the only brother that married due to his attempt to curry favour with other Northern lords, always musing thoughts of rebellion. It came as a great shock when his brothers passed away and he was made Lord, althought he knew he ought to be happy he only felt a great grief for his dead kin and from that moment onwards refrained from any dishonourable thoughts or actions torwards his family or vassals. Lord Torrhen is an imposing man grim and honourable.

After the coronation, Lord Renald Connigton arrives at the tower and ask's to see the hand of the king.

Lord Connington is allowed to see Lord Stark who is currently on his study pouring over a pile of scrolls and documents, on the door are two Stark man at arms and inside the hearth is lit and a warm fire makes the room comfortable. Torrhen beckoned him to sit "Take a seat Lord Connington, why is it you came to see me?"

Renald put on his best smile and sat. "Lord Stark, I have come to put my self forward as a candidate for the small council. I feel that i could use my skills to help the kingdom."

Lord Stark looks nonplussed "So you intend to become Master of Whispers?"

"Not necessarily, but if that is where you and the king think I would be best suited I would be happy to oblige. Like I said I am simply putting myself forward as a candidate, And letting you and the king decide if i would be a worthy and capable member of the small council." Replied Renald, In his usual friendly tone.

"Yes but I need to know exactly what are you applying too, unless you think yourself skilled in all areas?" Stark did not tell him that all positions but of Master of Whispers were already filled.

Renald let out a small laugh. "I am not that arrogant, very well I apply for the Master of Whispers position"

"And what experience do you have as a spy?"

"None, and you may think what use is a master of whisperers who is not a spy? Well here me out." "Who would you rather have knowing your secrets? A eunuch, a professional spy from the free cities or a Trustworthy lord of westeros who's livelihood depends on his loyalty to the king?" Renald smiled and leaned back in his chair.

Lord Stark was rather surprised by the man's answer, how could he apply if he had no skill at all?. "Well I'm not sure if you are aware but to know secrets you must be a spy. I will take it into consideration but I'm not sure you will have the office."

"That is fine" Renald said while rising from his seat. "I Leave it to your judgment, And now with your permission i will take my leave."
