    Default Trade ins?

Are there any comp chains (Northeast, United States, near PA/DE/NJ) that accept computer parts and let you use the credit you got trading them in to buy new parts?

For example, I wanna upgrade my X850 XT to like a 1900XTX or my 3200+ to a 4000+. Could I trade in the first two parts so that the secnod two cost a little less? Really any chain anywhere will work, I can just use a store locator and see if there are any in my area.

Not sure, but most places that have trade ins completely rip you off.

No, not any of my knowledge. Snuff is right though, if you go trade in games in at EB games, they rip you off a lot... I guess this will be the same for computer parts trade ins, if it exist. That's why I sell them on Ebay now, and you should do the same.

    Don't we all?

Now for a little bit of help.

With an X850 XT PE, 2048 MB, and an AMD 3200+, I think I could see the most improvement in my games with a new processor. Then again, I like eye candy better than performance. I'll push CoH to max settings and get a lower FPS just to look at pretty soldiers dying. Do you guys think I should upgrade the CPU or GPU?

For CPU, I'm looking at AMDs again.

    And graphics, ATI.

    Recomendations?

You could always go dual core, the X2 3800+ is pretty cheap.

For graphics, if its AGP, then thats about the best ATI can give for AGP cards. If it's PCI-E then check the PC hardware guide, I got all the good graphics cards listed there.

I hate to bump my own topic but I could use some suggestions. With the imminent release of the demo, I'm eager to get some upgrades before the release of the full game.

If you want a trade in program, check out eVGA. They make nVidia cards, and they allow you trade in your old one for a new one + some cash. It's called the Step Up program. My reccomnedation for vid cards lately has been the eVGA 7900GTO. The price/performance ratio can't be beat - but throw in the Step Up program, and folks, we have a winner!
