Removing the River Zora event?
I was wondering if anyone knew what would have to be done to remove the River Zora spawning. I've found at least 4 factions seem to be unplayable no matter what I do because of the crash at turn 15 that seems to be unavoidable. So any ideas on how I could remove the event?
I seem to have tracked the event down to an entry in the campaign_scripts.txt, but removing the entry still caused the message to appear. In addition the River Zora declared war on the Kokiri and the KoH. Interestingly I experience no crash. The Get Generals script for the River Zora is untouched; perhaps their generals are still spawning but not the main force? I'll have to do some more testing to see if I resolved the crashing.

Re: Removing the River Zora event?
In the same file (campaign_scripts.txt), there is a entry that seems to create the event, but i´m not sure. It is in the line 2786 i think. I have not tested because i fear i will screw up one of my saves. it may refers to the message that appears with the event. The text shown in the message can be found in the file historic_events.txt that is located in /data/text .
I hope it helps

I believe that's what I removed. There was a crapton of spawn Zola bits in there, so I'm guessing that was it.

Re: Removing the River Zora event?
I may remove that event as well, and I usually try my best not to touch anything. The River Zora don't do much of anything when not in the hands of the player, and cause crashes that far exceed their worth in the mod at the time.

East: Nerise - Kiril

If you use the same method as me let me know how it works for you. I removed everything about the event in both the campaign_scripts and backup_campaign_scripts.
