Military Traditions- are they transferable?

Shouldn't transferring an entire legion from one general to another pass with it the legion's traditions?

Playing 4 year per turn, so my main general and legion were stacked. Now that he has died, I've got some random "other" family member in charge of this legion of super soldiers. I've tried a bunch of ways, but no success in game atm.

If there is a way, do tell! It'd be much appreciated.

they are only for that army/legion. when you lose an entire army, you can resurrect it when you hire a new general.

it is suppose to replace generals by ca design, but it just doesn't feel the same as a general.

You can simply hire another general to the army you desire.
Go into the army specs and click "replace".

I won't be loosing this army anytime soon as its got gold plated Cohors Pratoria and Legionaii (Toon's mod). So yeah, guess I'll replace him once a family member is available. Too bad!
