Looking for Coop buddy Via steam

So, I have been trying to get a coop game going with a few friends but they have sort of moved on to something new and I havent been able to start another one up. I am looking for someone who is willing to become steam friends and simply get a coop very hard/ very hard (cant do legendary with save restrictions) campaign going. I've been enjoying this game since patch 8 as the campaign ai (in my experience) has been fielding good armies and building strong empires....

I do not have any set schedule so I am open for just making time as we go, planning for the next morning or the next night ect.... a few days in advance sort of thing... I cant really do a set time every day or week.

I am best with the Hellenistic factions with strong cavalry, Backtria being my favorite. (however I wouldnt want to play them in coop.) I am worst with the barbarian factions....

I own Greek City States DLC and that is it.... if you want to play as the Steppe folk I wouldnt mind being Pontus who is relatively close.... I like to share units during single army battles and focus on cooperating planned attacks.. (I attack from sea while you land and assault the walls.) The last campaign I played with my friend ended up being very entertaining.... this game provides many multi attack situations that hardly ever get played out in the campaign with ai....

I do not play often anymore, espeially after trying almost every day with my freind to do coop for the first 2 months after release, (started litrally about 35 new campaigns)

I play Vanilla to keep it simple and compatible.... Ill add you if you are down with Vanilla.... since patch 8 i've been satisfied with the game so I dunno.

Yo, my steam name is also HippieGunner34. I am down with vanilla as well. I just got the Patch 9 beta, don't know if that matters to you or not. I usually play on hard but am up for learning to play on vh/vh. Might be easier with someone experienced. Feel free to add me if interested

Good luck, once you get bored with co-op i suggest you too play Head to head. In fact playing a co-op in Head to Head is more rewarding then just playing a co-op since you guys can play as the AI which is so marvellous!

I like the feeling of being there with my army while my ally has his army.... I used to love multi clan warfare on shogun 2 with my friends... huge armies taking different sides of the castles.... now with naval invasions combined land battles we can coordinate even crazier attacks...

I don't play co-op anymore, at some point I'll betray you, not because I don't like you, but because the game is boring and because it's the only logic thing to do... That's how it worked back in the day, nations didn't stay best friends for over 400 years.. But all whiners I've played with just quit because they think it's personal and they refuse to pay me 30.000 for peace :p You would expect from a human player that he would at least know when he doesn't make a change ^^

Anyway now I can't play with you anymore, because it's obvious that you aren't going to trust me and are likely to betray me, not that I would care, but still, I would like a complete open minded campaign. Would be awesome if you didn't know from eachother which faction you are playing as. So that you don't know if you're dealing with AI or a human player... To bad that isn't possible, would be really really awesome
