Default Storm's end, Seat of House Baratheon

Storm's end is the capitol of the Stormlands, and one of the most impressive fortresses in Westeros. It was originally in the possession of the Durrendon line of Stormkings. It was built by the founder of that house, Durran the first, Godsgrief. After Aegon's landing and the death of the Stormkings, House Baratheon was established in the fortress as the Lords Paramount of the Stormlands.

Legends say that the Children of the Forest helped him construct the castle, weaving their magics into the stone walls, so that the vicous winds could find no purchase. Others say that Durran was aided in the construction by a young Bran the Builder. Regardless, Storm's End has endured many sieges in it's time, but has rarely been taken. +4 to seige defense rolls.

    Household

The Baratheons of Storm's end are the most recently founded of all the Westerosi great houses. The first Baratheon lord, Orys, landed with Aegon the Conqueror, and some even say he was his bastard brother. He slew the Stormking, Argilac Durrendon, "The Arrogant," and married his daughter, thus all current-day Baratheons are descended from one of Westeros' conquerors, as well as the Andal Stormkings. Baratheon men tend to be impressive physical specimens, with dark hair and blue eyes. They are the Lords Paramount of the Stormlands, which the watch over from their ancestral fortress.

    Lord Eldon Baratheon

    age: 41 (Born 191 A.L.)
    Married
    Traits (14 pts) Duel +3, Siege +4, Pillager tier 2, Jouster +2 counterspy +1

Eldon does not fit the image of a Baratheon exactly. He is slimmer than his father and brother, as well as his sons. However, while he can't bash his way through every problem, he still finds a way past will his talent with the sword, and more importantly, his brain. He knows the lands around Storm's end very well, and thus is well suited to defend them.

Jeor Baratheon, Strongbuck: Marshall of the Stormlands

    Age: 35 (Born 197 A.L.)
    Unmarried
Traits (12 pts) Duels +3, Field Battles +3, Siege +2, Survival +3, Loyalty tier 1

Jeor is a bear of a man, and all of the Baratheon bulk that is missing from the frame of Eldon seems to have been added on to Jeor in shoulders, arms, and girth. His title of Marshall of the Stormlands was not given without merit, as he is easily the greatest warrior currently within the hold. His brother thus defers to him on most military matters, although both of his nephews have showed talents that may one day equal or surpass his own.

Orys Baratheon: Heir of Storm's end

    Age: 20 (Born 213 AL)
    Unmarried
    Traits6 pts) Duels +2, Survival +2, Jousting +1, Siege +1

First son of Eldon, and the heir to the Paramountcy, Orys combines mostly Baratheon strength with some of his father's intelligence and with, making a powerful combination. He also prefers the blade to the hammer used by many of his family members and countrymen, and in many ways resembles his namesake, Orys I. He is good-looking enough, well-built and tough, but when he stands next to his brother, he seems dwarfed in strength, height, and features. Because of this, he is much more humble than his brother.

    Durran Baratheon, the Bold

    Age: 18 (Born 215 AL)
    Unmarried
    Traits(4pts) Duels +1, Loyalty lvl 1, Survival +1, field battles +1

If Orys resembles Orys the first, then Durran is just as true to his own namesake, Durran the First. He is a handsome young man, powerfully built, both tall and strong. According to Eldon, he looked into the boy's eyes when he was born and saw the spirit of a warrior, and knew that he would be a warrior following in the footsteps of Durran himself. Some people say that the house would be better off with more thinkers, but the majority of the people love Durran, and worship him as the hero reborn.

Jeor Baratheon, brother of Lord Eldon, recieves the Dornishman, with fairly good grace, despite the distrust he feels for them, having faught against them many times. "How can I help you, Dornishman?"

The Castellan bows. "My lord Baratheon, I have have been sent by the Magistrate of Planky Town and heir to the Princedom, Lucifer Martell, to present an offer of trade between Storm's End and Planky Town. Exchanging your master-crafted armor for the sand steeds of Dorne."

Jeor nods. "I am sure my brother will be overjoyed. Your steeds will help us, and our armor will no doubt benefit you."

A raven arrives from King's Landing, it is from the Hand, it reads that Lord Baratheon should come to King's Landing in order to serve as Master of Laws.
"We all know whatmy brother would do. Robert would gallop up to the gates of Winterfell alone, break them with his warhammer, and ride through the rubble to slay Roose Bolton with his left hand and the Bastard with his right. I am not Robert. But we will march, and we will free Winterfell … or die in the attempt."

He is received by Lord Baratheon's brother, Jeor, a giant, powerfully built man, clearly a warrior. The bearded nobleman sits in the high seat. He appears imposing, but when he sees the lord he welcomes him jovially enough.

"Lord Caron! If you've come to see your Lord Paramount, I'm afraid I'm the only one here, he's gone to the capitol on business. Can I be of service?"

"Ah, of course Sire. A Baratheon that just happens to be in Storm's End is all that I require!"

He chuckled and a young man held a small chest behind.
"Of course, of course, my business here! I received a raven about this royal tax. While is it an oddity today, I am happy to contribute.

The lord Reyne is welcomed in to the great hall, where three Baratheons sit. The young man who came to speak with him at Castamere has apparently decided that the hall is a sparring room, and is dueling two squires with one hand tied behind his back, showing off his prowess.

Lord Lucyus enteres the great hall visibly impressed about the interior because the Castle looks shoody from the outside
he is dressed in his finest clothes, wearing all jewelry he owns and a strange chest with him
"My Lord Baratheon, regards! Stormlands weather is horrible today... how is it going?" he says
Lucyus spotted Eldon's daughters and both look great, he is happy cause there is nothing more awful than a ugly wife

"Bah! I am no lord, that is my brother's task. I merely hold the seat while he is with the King. And there is a reason they call it the Stormlands." He looks to the left door of the chamber as a woman walks in, older than Eldon's daughters, but more beautiful for it, with a large bosom and bright blue eyes. She smiles at the handsome Lord Reyne. "This would be my sister, Serrena, whom you are to marry, I believe."

"If only Lord Connington gave a freely as you. I have had no response to the raven that was sent. Perhaps he ate it?"

Jeor waves his nephew forward, and Durran takes the chest.

"The Master of coin will no doubt be pleased, even if the rest of the realm isn't."

Orys Baratheon, son of Lord Eldon steps forward.

"Thank you for arriving so promptly, Lord Caron, my father no doubt thanks you from King's Landing. Would you care to stay for a meal, at least?"

"I give until I am told not to. While this gold could have been used for other things, a 1% tax isn't something to riot over. I'm not much of a frugal man, so it would have to be drasicallty raised for me to actually have a fit!"

Bryce laughed and graciously accepted the invitation
"Of course, Lord Orys. Thank you."

    He spoke once more
I intend to travel Northward to the Capital or further to try to secure trade, so a meal wouldn't hurt. Seems that the roads are constantly trading and some Lords just have too much and can't receive the best armor in these Seven Kingdoms! But no matter. I would rather have good armor than fresh fruits any day."

"Spoken well, and true. A fruit won't save you from a blade, but in fact is just as likely to be poisoned and equally deadly as one."

As he speaks, he stands to lead the lord to the feasting hall, a room of even greater size than the reception hall.

Serrena enteres the hall and Lord Reyne is overwhelmed because of her gracefulness
"My Lady! Let me introduce myself i am Lord Lucyus Reyne, first of his name, The Red Lion, High Lord of Castamere and owner of the greatest Castle in the Westerlands." he says proud and bows slightly

"Well Lord Baratheons brother, there is a gift for the Lord of Storm's End" Lucyus says and winks for Ser Ryan
Ryan steps forward carrying the strange chest, Lucyus opens it and shows the 15,000 Golden Dragons to Lord Baratheon's representative
"Thats a present to emphasize House Reyne's goodwill." Lucyus says and starts to cogitate
They will benefit a lot because of my dreaded and respected name... And my Family will also profit from this alliance nothing will stop me!

"Well, you seem more eager to give than some of the vassals of the Stormlands, who have had this tax levied on them."

Jeor laughed. Could this be some sort of political maneuvering? best ask Orys.

After the brother of Lord Baratheon converses with his nephew, he understands that the money is a way to reinforce the ties between the houses, hopefully strengthening both. He nods as gracefully as he can.

"The Stormlands are glad of this gift, and welcome you to our halls. The lord Caron arrived recently to bring his taxes,"
Unlike Connington, "and we, ah, would welcome." He appears lost in these pleasantries.

Orys covers quickly for his uncle "We would welcome you at our table for dinner, where you may be joining us and Lord Caron, one of our vassals. It would be an honor to have such a prominent guest dine with us, and perhaps you could become better acquainted with my aunt."

Durran looks up from his sparring to wink at Lucyus.

"Truer words have never been spoken. While the Storm Land's aren't the richest or the most inclined place to reside for luxury, our troops and our ruggedness ensure that we will be here longer than most should war ever break out."
He followed the Lord to the reception Hall. It was Grand. Storm's End, while it was located right beside the coast, was quite luxurious and the halls and Keep took note in this.

"Alas, I do not. I was ill with some sort of fever for nearly 2 months and could not make the Great Council, and as I result I have only seen a few faces of the Lords of this realm. But rumors and stories spread, so it is hard not to know of Lucyus Reyne. But I tell you this, my age brings with it temperament, and I will treat this Lord Reyne with respect, no matter how hard it is...."

Bryce nodded and followed Orys to the reception hall. He noticed Lord Reyne and began to walk up to him

"Lord Lucyus Reyne, I presume?! Lord Orys has told me much about you."
