Lord Tully arrives one day after the election of King Aegon to his private chambers. He requests a private audience.

Tully enters, well-dressed, with the colours of his House, and a black garter on his leg as symbol of mourn for Maekar.

    "My King"

    He bows.

"We have to discuss about what your Grace proposed to me yesterday in the Throne Room. I'm afraid I will not be able to stay in the capital much longer, in fact I will leave after your Royal Coronation. Such it's mandatory for me to discuss that with your Grace, today. However if you lack the time or are too busy, my liege, I'll leave"

Aegon did not see that there was much more to talk about for several years now. "What would you propose as a solution?"

"I have been thinking about this for hours, and I only find the few options, but the most likely could be a betrothal between your one of your sons and my daughter Aelinor, currently three years old"

"The second option could be wait for a grand-daughter to be born from your offspring and arrange a the marriage between my son, Hoster, and her"

"The third would be the least fitting, marrying your young daughter to my uncle, who even if old is one of the finest swordman in the Riverlands, and he hasn't ever been idle, he is as energetic as he was in his youth"

Lord Stark, hand of the King requests an audience with his grace.
"We all know whatmy brother would do. Robert would gallop up to the gates of Winterfell alone, break them with his warhammer, and ride through the rubble to slay Roose Bolton with his left hand and the Bastard with his right. I am not Robert. But we will march, and we will free Winterfell … or die in the attempt."

Aegon concluded that which he had also concluded some time before. "It appears that we shall have to wait, then. Would that there was a Tully available to wed my daughter now, that would have been the best course. Still, we may yet bind our houses. Only time and the gods will be able to offer us consolation."

OOC: Sorry kinda short on time.

"Baratheon you say." Aegon considered the Baratheon's support. It had not been entirely crucial, but he had still chosen wisely. Perhaps it was a fitting reward. "He would be a fine choice, but who would govern the Stormlands in the interrim?" Aegon quickly waved his hand. "All questions for him, I suppose. Tell him to come to court, and we will discuss things further."

Aegon let his Hand finish speaking before he continued "Your son is marrying a Tully, is he not?"

"Actually Lord Baratheon said he has brothers, I believe, who could rule in his stead." He Pauses for a moment "Yes he is."

While most of the Goldcloaks can suitably patrol the streets to prevent crime, I estimate that no more than a fourth of them are disciplined enough and have enough training to protect the capital if it were ever to be attacked. The rest would most likely rout at the first sight of danger. With your permission, King Aegon, I would like to begin a rigorous training program in hopes that these men can be whipped into shape. It will not be an easy task but given enough time, I may be able to make the Goldcloaks a respected organization within our Kingdom again. I also intend to expand the Goldcloaks with more experienced men recruited from both the knightly class and some of the local sellswords to reinforce the capital's defense. I will ensure that these men shall be loyla only to your grace and no one else."
Aegon sighed deeply "Then it is as I feared. They have grown soft in their garrison of the capitol and indulged in too many luxuries. It is good that their commander is determined to reinstate discipline and soldierly virtue." Expanding the guard could be dangerous if these men found their commander to be the chief executive in the capitol even over the king. "I would prefer if we ruled out sellswords, and worked only with men anointed with Seven Oils, men we know we can trust not to betray us to a higher bidder."

"Then it is settled." There is not much time to waste in the matter, the year is drawing to a close, and my enemies have had a good head start. "Send for Lord Baratheon immediately. Once he is duly named we shall convene the council in full, what we have of it, and come to decisions about several things."

"I shall send a raven at once."

"As you wish King Aegon. I shall personally ensure that every man who will be added to the Goldcloaks ranks shall be anointed in the oils of the Seven." said Ser Edmyn. "That is all that I have for my King and if you do not have need of me, I shall request my leave."

    A raven arrives:

    Your Grace:

The task you encharged us with has been fisnihed swiftly. Lord Tully acepts the trade with the Crown and will send his grain to the capital as soon as posible. Lord Florent acepts the agreement too, and the fruits of the Honeywine will flow into King's Landing in the next weeks. And finally, and if your Grace doesn't mind, will be the pure gold of the Crag the one that will be sent to your Grace, House Westerling will supply the Crown with the fruit of the golden veins than run through the hills in our lordship. I'm soon returning to the Capital from Riverrun.

In the Ligh of the Seven, your most faithful servant,

Lord Ormond Westerling, the Master of Coin

The King was just in the process of sending for the Master of Coin anyway, and grants an audience.

He bows, as deep as his limpness lets him to:

"Your Grace, your orders have been fulfilled, the Tully's grain, Florent's fruits and my House's gold will soon start arriving to the capital, as you desired"
