The World's Worst Movie Quotes

You all know that, deep down inside, it's not the fantastic dialogue or the glorious speeches of critically-acclaimed movies that titillate you the most, that excite you, haunt you, fill you with pleasure.


We all know that it is the cheesy, the outrageous, the shockingly bad lines in movies that evoke the greatest amusement and the strongest memory. So now I would like to dedicate this thread to the world's worst movie quotes, pooled from the crowd sourcing abilities of this our TWC forum. I shall merely offer a small suggestion that you can build upon, and together, we shall find cinema's worst lines ever imagined.

That small suggestion shall be from Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992), with two particular lines from the film. When the chief protagonist Joey walks through her glass balcony door into an alternate reality and other dimension (er...green screen ), this happens:

JOEY: Now what? I'm here...I just walked into madness for you...talk!

JOEY: Captain Spencer...um...Eliot...what the hell is going on?
ELIOT: Hell is exactly what is going on, Joey.

Delicious.

That movie is so bad that you have to cringe after every scene, every line...it's basically unwatchable. I literally can't sit through more than 15 minutes of it without giving up and swearing I'd never torture myself like that again.

This more than qualifies for this topic I'd say.

There was every orb conceivable on that tomb except one: The orb which fell from the heavens and inspired Newtons life's work. Work that incurred the wrath of the church until his dying day. A-P-P-L-E. Apple.

Some say he did it that way on purpose, according to some of the actors Tommy Wiseau may have been just winging the entire film. When they asked him why some scenes or lines were there he reportedly would not answer and just smiled or laughed or said "that is da trick, it is da trick".

I think he's just an idiot who was serious about that movie but can't act, write, direct or well do anything related to movies.. he's probably just saying afterwards he did it on purpose to save himself the embarassment.

Occam's razor, my friend, Occam's razor. It's the simplest explanation and quite honestly makes the most sense. IFC.com put it best when they said this about Wiseau's performance: "Borat trying to do an impression of Christopher Walken playing a mental patient"
