Hey guys. Status update: I'm quite busy IRL atm, and so am patiently waiting till the endless stream of DeI updates have cooled down before making a serious go at updating my submod. ETA unknown.

Aeimnestus was a Spartan, famous because he killed the Persian General Mardonius at the battle of Plataea.
Thanks for the update.![]()
"You hurt me long ago; my wounds bled for years. Now you are back, but I am not the same."
Can't wait for the .8 version to come out, im eager to try this bad boy out.
i agree, but slight with a slight change to your statement. DeI without this mod is no fun, Rome 2 without mods is unplayable.
oh, and whats up with the "rotating" units in vanilla DeI battles, annoying and it looks awful. they never hold a line, always rotating or re-positioning their ranks like retards
yeah hope you get the new versions out asap![]()
Double edged sword: I simply cannot play DeI without this mod....stuck in inactivity until it is updated. But when it is done, much more satisfying experience.
Hoping it is out soon....
apoll
When this MOD will update? PLZ!!
is there any way to get the 0.75c version of dei so i can try this one?
Ahhhh! Come back, this game was so much better with your mod. I need my fix!
I've gotten used to standard DeI battles, but sometimes I miss the slower more tactical battles of this submod. it was really a different experience, and it was amazing having to actually work for a win, having to think and try to figure out "ok our lines are locked, how can I win this battle....". It felt like the battle was decided on tactics and formations rather than individual units beating each other.
I'd imagine from the prior statements that once the inevitable rush of .85b .85c etc has calmed down, then the submod will return [IRL schedules permitting].
I wonder if anyone could pick this up just to get it up to speed. This is probably the best submod in my opinion. I would do it but I would need some help. Took me days just to figure out how to get rid of forced march, which was really easy it turned out, but this is huge sub-mod and I would have no idea where to start.
does this mod remind anyone else of Roma Surrectum 2's battles. f'ing awesome
