    Default Requirements?

    Hi!
I don't understand whats wrong. When i had RTR installed it didn't lag, but now when I have Terrae Expugnandae it lags even when all setting is low. On campaign map the lag isn't very serious, but it is there(with RTR no lag). On the battlemap it is huge. It's wierd.
What may cause this lag? Help plz

Restart your PC usually sorts a lag or look for updated drivers for your gfx card?

It's very strange, TE is always kept low with system specs by Lusted to allow people with low-end pc to play it decently. Eventually post you system specs and you video option settings, so we can take a look!

That is very strange, before I buy my new pc, I played with higher settings than yours (all on medium or even high, with smoke, desync anim. etc..) with only a Athlon XP 1800+ (1.4 Ghz) 768 MB RAM and a Ati Radeon 9550 256 MB, as you can see, your specs are better on all fronts.
Have you updated your graphic card as suggested by Bombasticus? Because with the option you have set and with your specs the game have to run at 50 fps!!!!

Did you allow the game to 'auto-detect the optimal settings in the screen you show? (button in lower right corner) Sometimes, if you don't do this, you may have settings that are not as they should be (copied RTW directory for use with multiple mods). Try letting the game tell YOU what it thinks is good, save it, then go back in and set it to what you want. This has helped me resolve issues.

I haven't tried it. I just auto-detect the optimal settings and then change back as i want the mto be? I don't understand how this should help, but i'll give it a try...
