starting technology

Okay, my question, is how would I go about changing what techs a faction starts with? I've looked through the forums and can't find anything relating to this (which I can't believe). I have some experience modding empire and napoleon, but I can't find a technology list in shogun as in those titles.

You need to edit the table startpos_technologies, and the process the startpos of the campaign.
