Single Battles
Best of 3
I don't have an opponent? How does this tourney work, is it knockout or a ladder?
It is single elimination knockout. Only 5 players advance to the second round.
Well actually if Jox and Khyz can't play that means we have a perfect 8. I am hesitant to go looking for new players this late in the game, but I DEFINETLY plan to organize another tourney after this, so please keep in touch!

I guess me and pandachef could play each other?
Looks like that's what it will be. Send me your battle times and ill film them
Can I still join?
I would love to see how the TA community plays field battles.
I don't see why not!
Anyone want to play some battles just for fun right now?
I'm online now!
What do you mean? I've seen 8 player scored res games go on all the time. I agree though, this is something we should plan ahead of time. If you guys are interested, send me a PM with times that work for you and we'll do our best to get everyone together.
Also, I like the idea of using voice chat. We could set something up over Skype.
We can only make 4 teams (which is a shame) you can look it up for yourself
But it will still be awesome
Since i wont be able to play until february ( due to b-day party on weekend and work) we have enough time to get this going and hopefully we get all 8 slots occupied![]()
The first battle between theworldstage and ArrowindaKnee is up on my channel!
Yea I saw, I didn't realize how much I decimated his infantry until now, most of his units that were still left after the battle was archers and cav.
Man, I should have ditched the miners and maybe some axemen for better units to guard my flank...
Some vault wardens to counter his cav and protect your flanks would have served you well, I think.
Yea, I didn't think miners would die and route so easily to charges.
I had a thought, would putting light infantry in loose formation behind your infantry line help against charges? I was fighting Thrawn (I think it was Thrawn) as Gondor against mordor, and his orc archers in Loose formation really delayed and in some cases stopped my swan knights from charges his rear.
If the archers had a heavy mass and good armor, they might.
Miners in TATW have some good armor piercing if I remember right, but they can't stand up being charged in the rear. My general was in the Arnor Sergeants unit held in reserve.
As to the infantry, much like Gondor Archers, Arnor Heavy Archers function as stout melee troops once they're out of ammo, so I was pretty confident in my line holding up. And, Jmon, the Dwarven general fell from a cav charge, not in archer fire. He (a heavily armored Dwarven general) would be quite difficult to pierce at range.
