Default windows 8, runing unpacker issue

Finally got the medieval 2 and kingdoms working and got retrofit installed but I need to make some changes to the data files to mesh with my retrofit customizations.

So I go to run unpacker and I get the error message about this missing file

    MSVCP7l.dll

Its a brand spanking new computer so I haven't had enough time to start messing it up.

How do I get this resolved? thanks

cccopy the msv*.dll files to the unpacker. This started when Vista was released.

belay that I figured it out. copied it from main mtw2 folder and pasted it into the tools/unpacker folder.

from the disc? to the folder?

Hope you can be more precise for me so I can know exactly how to do it.

I am assuming the missing file is one from the game and not the computer?
