Icon4 [Release] The Danube Limes 0.9 Beta

Today we are happy to announce the release of a 0.9 Beta version
of the first subcampaign of East of Rome -
    The Danube Limes.

The Danube Limes This sub-campaign for East of Rome starts in 591 AD, the year when Maurikios finally
signes a peace treaty with the Sasanian Persian Empire in the east.
The constant war on the eastern frontier of the empire tied up most of the Roman army
so that the Balkan provinces were left defenceless.
The Slavic tribes north of the Danube sensed this weakness and subsequently begin to raid
the Roman provinces to the South.

Please make sure you have at least 5 GB of free space on your hard drive before installing.

    The standard installation path is
    I
    X:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods

    I
    Download
    Part I: Here
    Part II: Here

    Additional Installation Information

    Steam Info

    1. Install all parts of the mod as instructed above.
    2. Open "Steam/Steamapps/Common/Medieval II Total War/mods". There you
will find all your installed Kingdoms campaigns as well as the
    "EoR" modfolder.
    3. Edit the name of one of the Kingdoms folders (americas, britannia,
crusades, teutonic), preferably your least favorite campaign. The new
name doesn't have to be anything specific.
    4. Change the name of the "EoR" folder to the former name of the
Kingdoms folder you just edited. For example, if you edited the
"americas" folder, the "EoR" folder should be named "americas".
    5. Select the appropriate campaign from the steam menu. If you renamed
the "EoR" folder to "americas", select the americas campaign. If you
named it "crusades", select the crusades campaign and so on.
    6. Steam will now launch the mod.

Alternatively you can use the Kingdoms Launcher App.

I tend to edit my posts once or several times after writing and uploading them. Please keep this in mind when reading a recent post of mine. Also, should someone, for some unimaginable reason, wish to rep me, please add your username in the process, so I can at least know whom to be grateful towards.

    My thanks in advance.

The description Last of the Romans (Ultimus Romanorum) has historically been given to any man thought to embody the values of Ancient Roman civilization —values which, by implication, became extinct on his death. It has been used to describe a number of individuals.
Flavius Belisarius (505?–565), one of the greatest generals of the Byzantine Empire and one of the most acclaimed generals in history. He was also the only Byzantine general to be granted a Roman Triumph.

    Hello,

I can not run the file EoR0.9_Beta_01.exe
My PC freezes and Norton reported this file as dangerous.
Could you put the relevant files in a zip or rar format file but without executable?
Could you do the same for the EoR0.9_Beta_02.exe

    Thank you in advance

    Yves

    Bonjour,

    Merci

Guys, i just wanna say a Thanks for this amazing most beautiful and historic work i admit i was almost done waiting but now i see it was well worth the wait.
This may sound stupid, but i dreamed of having my Roman Emperor of this era just like Heraclius from "The Eastern Romans 330-1461" (i have the book) it was a total surprise for me
