army sizes
Hey all,
I have played Europa Barbarorum quite a lot so I thought let's give this one a try. In the screenshot thread I noticed the amount of full stacks. Is this the normal way in RS2, to have full army battles mostly? Am I correct to assume a big treasury in contrast to EB? Thanks

Re: army sizes
I play rs2 on the ALX engine so that probably encourages the ai to unite it's armies better but yes I think this mod consistently turns out big stacks. Generally when the AI attacks it doesn't just send one annoying unit it will send a massive invasion force, especially with larger AI empires, In the late game as Rome in my campaign, pontus was the big eastern empire and it didn't send just one or 2 full stacks, it sent 7 to attack byzantium and they got as far as edessa before i finally got my armies back together to counter attack. This was on 1-turn and i find this enjoyable as the armies do eventually wither down but I just couldn't even consider doing a 0-turn campaign.
I haven't played EB but the treasury in rs2 is quite generous. You don't really struggle with the economy at all as long as you pay some attention to it. That said it's not an easy campaign either, it is quite difficult at times.
