That's not how javelinmen are properly used, but that's T-Okay.

1: Is it possible to invade the Twilight Realm? I own Arbiter Grounds as the Darknuts but I have no idea how to get there.

2: How does one handle "boss" units without ranged or siege units? (Ganon, Sulkaris, Zuna Ziggurats, etc.)

Indeed, you gain more reps from silly puns than from real contributions. Like this:

If Ogres invaded England, would they become Brutish?

1: No, unless the Twili build the Portal you need to invade by themselves.

2: Expendable units in loose formation would be ideal.

I tried charging with tokay hunters before, they alll died or routed before they got halfway there. I even had them charge from both sides.
It was 2 units of tokay hunters by the way.

Were they in Loose formation? And did you charge them in to melee? Or did you make them use their javelins?

I guess i should have mentioned using loose formation, but I though it was obvious. I have done it myself, so a couple units of tokay hunters should be able to reach and kill a gunner post or even 2, maybe even more, it really depends of where are the post, they are fragile when you reach then. If there are more post or enemies is another story. And if you doonīt have a general morale isssues are to be expected. Anywat, hire more if you can. They are really cheap and several units in loose formations and from different directions canīt fail unless is a full stack of post or something.

Who were you charging? Were they in loose formation? Anyways, Tokay Hunters are javelinmen. They get an absurd bonus attack units labelled as elephants, and boss are among those.

I believe one of the units was in loose formation and the other wasn't. Wierd thing is the loose formation unit died faster than the other.

Regardless, make sure you draw any supporting infantry away from the gunner post first. Even weak infantry will bog your units down long enough to be shot to bits. When I use gunner posts myself, I like to have a wall of at least 4 posts with whatever infantry is on hand to put on the wings. You won't be making any progress unless you can focus on *just* the posts. That's why the Labrynna faction has Cannon Fodder. Any meatshield will stop an opposing charge long enough to be murdered. Fortunately, the AI is too dumb to use those supporting units properly, so just draw them away and then deal with the isolated posts later. Just for the record, this also works with Kokiri Barricades.

Have Bigocto Battle Platforms been nerfed? People have mentioned them being OP on this forum, but every time I use them, they seem a bit useless. Their charges don't do much damage and aren't very disruptive, a few will die if they stay in melee for long after a charge, and (probably the most ridiculous) their own projectiles can kill them. Seems a long way from how they have been described. Normal Bigocto Riders have proven to be much more useful, and are literally the only reason I'm winning a war against the Gorons.

Also, is King Farkos' model just a blue Goron?

    @Tf

Huh? What is this? Ever since the Sapphire Wardens got their buff, Bigocto Battle Platforms have been able to decimate armies just by walking near them. The massive AoE and damage from a durable, mobile platform makes them quite the problem when fighting the Zora in the most recent version. I don't know what's going on in your game, but I've seen them do a hell of a lot of damage, both on my side and when pitted against me.

King Farkos's model is based off the King Zora from OoT, not a blue Goron.

I've been using them like the elephants in vanilla M2TW, which is maybe why they haven't been as good. A few bad experiences leaving fire at will on (and killing my own Bigoctos) have made me reluctant to use them for that at all, so maybe that's something I should try.

I know he's based off of the OoT King Zora, but tell me these don't look very similar:

I don't remember King Zora having long arms either.

They look similer but that doesn't mean he is a blue goron.

    He's Brutish

That said, its model feels a little recycled indeed.

I can see how he would be difficult to model. I always thought that he was so fat in OOT that he literally couldn't move. Ha, maybe he should be floating around in a chair like Hylia? Or MODOK...

I meant the models were the same, not that he's actually a blue goron.

I always assumed he was a sub-species of Zora or something, given that he has no fins, and not just a really fat one.
