Duggan's family stated the allegations against Duggan were "disinformation", stating that he was "not a gang member and he had no criminal record".^[30] Duggan had been convicted of cannabis possession and handling stolen goods.^[31] He had been arrested on many occasions, for crimes including murder and attempted murder.^[32]

Supporters of the Duggan family shouted abuse at the jurors and reportedly smashed a court door.Outside, shouts of "no justice, no peace" could be heard as angry supporters voiced their outrage at the finding.

From the article; This is the part i like, indeed a man with a criminal history, such an upstanding member of British society, and look at his friends, family and now-supporters. Look at the fantastic people they seem to be....

They sound like thugs and idiots. If they want an actual legal inquest, go for it. But they shame themselves and rather cast a bad light on what they want to achieve;

'No justice, no peace' - what a joke, it sounds like a teenage child's threat for feths sake...

To be honest i'm not entirely sure, but i'm guessing we need to look into the ins and outs of why 'promising footballers' should be legally beyond all reproach regardless of their criminal activities or throwing guns into bushes... but their potential footballers damn it! Is nothing sacred*

*No offense to you Sharpe intended, but it was rather amusing you'd list that quality at all, as if it was somehow important, and indeed would put it in front of 'Family man'.

But i'm not quite sure how this shows racism in the MET? Mistakes in a dodgy circumstance? (It appears he was armed, but got rid of the weapon quickly)

Still, the apologists for this guy that keep getting trotted out on TV really is quite nauseating. Get involved with gangs, run about London with a gun... sooner or later you're going to get shot, either by the police or the people you associate with.

true he dumped it nearby.They shot a unarmed man though.

He was a drug dealing gangster too.His 2 best friends are in jail for killing people.

The cops shot a man who was unarmed at the time.They did kill him in cold blood.They must have covered it up like other cases The Birmingham 6 and Guildford 4 and Justice for the 96 Liverpool fans who died at the Hillsborough stadium.Cops cover things up.Thatcher let them do what ever they wanted and they smashed the skulls of many a miner who was striking.Nowadays it is harder to arrest a black man and kick him around the cells but it happens still to this day.
I am surprised we have not seen any rioting like the last time over this.I could have gone over on the boat and got a new pc and TV.

But we still need these thugs in cop clothing to stop junkies robbing our homes and cars and shops to feed their habit of heroin brought over from Afghanistan.
