Good Work alQamar , you are doing a great job.
It was all about time to leave the stupid totalwar.com and turn completely to TWC .
Total War Center is "the save haven "

Also you will find here more experienced and wiser people , since on totalwar.com most people register only because they have problems with their game.

To performance : I have a very good PC , that could easily run every new game on max. settings.
But in Rome 2 I hardly get more than 30 FPS in 40vs40 Battles.
This is so dissapointing , because performance is the thing that has ruined Rome 2 for me.

Performance even goes down with number of turns passed, I simply quit after 100 turns or so because of unnatural laggs...

The last game I played without SLI support was Spore. Sort of fitting being both games were horrible disappointments.

    My shameful truth.

I've been using the internet since it was a DOS based BBS, I've been a member of countless forums and never received so much as a single infraction on any, since the release of Rome 2 I have been banned 4 times for the most laughable of reasons on those forums, they are trying to remove the unhappy customers all the while the fanboys get away with the same comments that I get banned for, they are just a bunch of amateurs with fanboys promoted to Moderators, there is only one mod on that site who has my respect, as he actually points out issues with the game as well.

I know I only speak for my self but I get 50+ fps in 40v40 battles with everything on maximum and forcing certain settings.

Still, I'm mad they insist on a 32BIT game which causes unit stutter with large battles due to CPU bottleneck.. They need to wake up and realize very few gamers are running 32 bit systems..

    Hi m040160k,

I know that the game is running quite better when you are playing it, however to make objective testing and comparison possible we need to use the benchmark. I would be happy if you can run it maxed out and post a screenshot here, then we might compare. I am pretty sure Al Jabberwock was wrong with saying it is not the same for all users. But I am open to learn new things.

Practically there is no relation between the bad optimization and the game being a 32bit game. This would only hampered the game if it runs out of memory.

    Offtopic remarks and credits:
I'd be more than happy too mate, the thing is I have a few permanent tweaks here and there so it may be a bit of an unfair comparison so what I'll do is create a clean install of the game and run it on that I will post the results in about 30 minute. (It could be that my extra fps is due to these changes)

Hey guys... do you think that with a dual-core G3220 of 3.0 GHz and a GTX 550 Ti I will be able to medium this game with playable FPS? I know it's unpolished, and rough and many other bad things but it's still a TW so...

Afaik patch 9 is the last one, I wouldn't expect much.

    @Leonidas II
Thanks, when I'll have that rig I will report my benchmarks

Np , but if I was you , I would add some money and buy at least a GTX 560 TI , because the 550 TI is an office card.
Also I would add some more money and buy a processor with 4 cores .

My budget is limited so that's the best I can afford. Anyways I will buy it in July so yeah... who knows what's released until then.
