    The Chambers of Mors Qorgyle

Mors Qorgyle, Master of Ships, resides here

    Master of Ships
    - Being responsible for maintaining the Royal Fleet provides connections in the shipbuilding industry. The Master of Ships can hire ships at a 25% discount, which applies to ships hired for the Royal Fleet or for his own. This applies to hire cost, not upkeep cost.

When the new Master of Ships was shown to his chambers, and then left there to tend to whatever his business was, something stirred in another part of the apartment, from behind one of curtains, and another Dornish man stepped out, dressed in a black, striped, fitted doublet, the collar and chest loosened.
He was the man who had supported the King in front of him, along with that voluptuous Dornish woman.

Now he smiled oddly as Mors, and seemed to adjusting his clothing as if getting up from a nap.
"I see they've shown you in," the man said casually, with an oddly sweet-and-sour voice.

Your eyesight is marvelous, Master of Whispers

Mors was surprised to see him. Especially considering that, supposedly, some servants had prepared the room for his arrival
Qorgyle had heard of the man. A Gargalen of Salt Shore, that had been appointed after Martell had left the Capital

It certainly raises some concerns when a viper visits your room. I'd offer you some wine, but, ehm, I haven't got around to bringing the stock here

"No matter," he waved lazily with a hand, "the wine has been very sour of late."
Gargalen walked over to the balcony.
"Why didn't they give me a room of Dornish style?" he mumbled, admiring the Rhoynish arches and railings.

'The Viper' then turned and leaned against one of the red-and-white columns.

"What if a viper visits a boa? Does it still warrant concern?"
A grin crossed his face that seemed it would be almost wolfish if not for the man's careful sophistication.

Because I have gold, and gold moves mountains. Or was that faith?

Mors smiled and sit on one of the several cushions that laid on the floor

I'm no boa, I'd rather be called an scorpion. Or Mors, Mors is a pretty name. Or are you calling me boa because of the size of my manhood? If that's the case, thank you, but I'm more into women

Norne remained silent for a long moment, and his smile turned to amusement slowly, until he moved from his spot and took a seat on a divan across from his host.
"I've found not one man nor woman who can trade blows with my tongue in this city, until now."
He looked oddly pleased, and reached out his open hand.
"Welcome to this of a city, Mors. It is good to see another son of sand, here."

Well, I'm glad. Don't get too emotional though, I've spent more time on a ship than in Dorne. I can hardly be called a sandchild

Gargalen might have not cared about not having something to drink, but Mors did. His mouth was dry

So, why are you here, besides scaring the out of me?

    Norne nodded a little,
"To scare the out of you,"
    and then scratched his hip,
"But also to introduce myself and my sister to you; She seems to fancy you,"

And I seem to fancy pretty girls. The gods may have united our paths

Mors grinned and got up. He walked up to the balcony

As Master of Whispers, I suppose you do have some interesting information about the different characters that inhabit this Keep, am I right? Or are you that lousy at your job?

    "Terribly lousy."

    Then there was nothing.
Mors would turn to see nothing, no trace of the man still left in the room.

Lord Maelys Targaryen pays a visit to the Master of Ships, he carries a bottle of Arbor Gold and another of Myrish Firewine.

The lone mercenary who was hired by Mors to guard the entrance was ordered to let Lord Maelys in after searching him for any dangerous weapons

Mors was sitting in the balcony, doing some finances

They could not find any. Maelys had any weapons, any rings, anything, with the exception of his rich garments and robes. Both bottles were sealed, and had a layer of dust on them, suggesting they are old enough to be considered a delight to the senses.

We've met before, haven't we, Lord Maelys?

Mors got up after the door opened and Maelys entered. He looked tired, he had already been visited and had already visited someone

"Not, but we had a bad start, I openly stated that you were not fitting for your office, but I was wrong, and so, I came to offer my apologies. I even called you a pirate! Something I expect won't hurt you, with all my respect, you don't look exactly like a delicate admiral, but as a seasoned corsair"

"Also I tried to support the claim of a friend of mine, and you know how friendship is. It implies some duties and obligations"

Shows him the bottles, while smiling.

"With wine! Arbor Gold and Firewine! I brought them from my private chambers. And I would like to share them with you"

    He chuckles

"If you worry about poison, I'll drink first, but I can't promise I won't get drunk soon"

Don't worry, milord, I've been called worse things than a pirate

    He smiled tiredly

It's a nice gesture though, the apology, and especially the wine.

Mors chuckled and took out two goblets of a drawer.

Be my guest, Maelys, take a sit

He pointed at the cushions on the floor

Maelys sits with elegance at the floor, trully confortable.

"Thanks my Lord. I hope you will like the firewine, I drink that to remind a time I spent in Myr, lovely city. Strong but fitting for sailors, and really restores a man's strenght"

    ooc:
Merchant Trade: Merchants will still function as the outlined in the rules but they will also now have a new role to fulfill. That of freelance contractors who can add additional routes to a lord's trade for a set amount of time. To do this a merchant must be willing to use their caravans or ships or warehouse for a Lord's benefit.

E.g. I have three ships. I use two for my own private ventures (usual income generation) and I hire one out to Lord Serry for trade. This mean the ship will not generate usual profit but 10,000 dragons for the Lord less whatever fees the Merchants charges. This will benefits both parties, but beware, a greedy Lord may try to seize your assets!
    "Glad to hear that"

"But now let's celebrate our colaboration and friendship, let's do a toast, shall waves and tides be kind with both!"

"Master Qorgyle, was it?" Garrett said as he entered. "This is nothing more than a social call, if you want to call it that," he said. "I thought it important to meet my new colleague as soon as possible. I am Prince Garrett Arryn, Master of Laws." He looked around. "You have arranged your room in a beautiful manner," he said, thinking about his own boring chambers.
