XGM Launch icon doesnt work

When i go to launch XGM the red Rome Total War box comes up and stays on the screen and the game never gets launched. Anybody know what the problem is?

Hmm, usually when that happens, is because of dodgy no CD-Cracks, or a dodgy disk.
