Need help with SS 6.4 install

Hello, I recently discovered this mod through a friend, and tried to install it for myself. I followed the instructions, uninstalled and reinstalled Kingdoms, and then installed first SS 6.3 and then the SS 6.4 patch. When I tried to start it, however, it first said that it has detected Steam on my computer (which is not true, my laptop, where I installed it does not have and never had Steam), and then proclaimed that it was unable to find kingdoms.exe (which is right there, in the MTW II folder!). Does anyone else have a similar experience? If so, what did you do to solve the problem?

When you play Kingdoms, does the launcher pop up, or does it go directly to the game?

The launcher pops up first.
Also, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again today, and SS 6.3 works completely fine. Only after upgrading to SS 6.4 does it suddenly not find kingdoms.exe anymore.

Try this: install this app (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ng-Application). Once installed, click it, go to file, new mod, put SS or something in the name and insert the path, where your SS folder is located. Don't forget to click Kingdoms and not Medieval II in game exe. Then, just launch Kingdoms, and, in the launcher click play. Finally, just choose the SS entry (or wathever you called it).
