    or are they just extremely rare and I've just never noticed them


    if they were removed, why?

    I think they might be rare. In the campaign I'm currently playing I've seen a storm, sam can go for earthquakes. Can anyone confirm?

    I had a storm last turn in my Seljuk campaign, so they do still exist. However, I think that is the first one that occurred in ~140ish turns.

    I had an earthquake destroy a part of my city garrison and a large part of the seiging army which made defending a lot easier

    Clearly an act of God to destroy the infidel (I was Kingdom of Leon and the attackers were the Moors)

    They are rare and mostly happen in middle east, possibly to make crusades even more interesting.

    Well there aren't that many earthquakes in central europe and if there are some , they are usually incredible weak(RL).
