protectorates
Hey,
I was wondering, it is possible to force another faction to become your protectorate in Roma Surrectum II (2.1, Five Good Emperors). I am trying to make Carthaginians to become my protectorate, they are currently my allies with one city left, though this option does not seem to be present...
Is it somehow possible to activate it?
Thanks in advance for some advice!

You have to be at war with them first

Re: protectorates
you know, I was actually thinking about this, but it doesn't really work!
is there an option of imposing/ becoming a protectorate of other faction in RSII 2.1 at all?
I can see there is this feature on the diplomacy list, however throughout the whole campaign I haven't had any faction becoming a protectorate of the other.
Moreover, I cannot use this feature myself, either.
May it be that it was deactivated in RSII 2.1?

Re: protectorates
I've had protectorates and seen the AI form them in every version of RS2. I've been playing RS2 since release and I've never had a problem with not even getting the option to form them. Getting the AI to accept them without force diplomacy is another matter entirely. Not to mention getting them to stay as protectorates, but those are issues with the RTW engine in general.
