    Default Unpack

Hi, so, I always thought I had unpacked the files, but just now I been searching for export_descr_buildings and couldn't find it! Is there some way for me to check if I did really unpack it or just thought I did? Perhaps telling me the name of some files that appear only after unpacked? It's strange because there are lots of files.

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...Store-Problems?

There are unpacker tutorials in there, too.

Sure there are, but I want to know if I did unpack or not instead of learning how to unpack (which I already know), how can I be sure the game is unpacked?

Did you look in the virtual store/roaming/ what any other name Microsoft decides to call it AFTER unhiding all files, folders, and drives in Folder Options?
Did you read the link and go through the steps on the link I posted in my last post in find this virtual store BS Microsoft loves to hide because of litigation?

The only way you're going to know and I can't do it for you from here.

You have to be logged in as Administrator to see all these goodies. If you're trying to do it on a school computer or your parents/siblings have you locked out of having a Administrator account, you won't see it and this no one can help you with.

Don't worry about that, I don't go to school been some years and the computer is mine, but I don't think you understood I'm not talking about UAC or Windows problems, I'm talking about unpacking it to mod, well, I found out it wasn't unpacked, so I did, and now Jesus Christ, everytime I try to get in a battle, game crashes. Any ideas?

Did you read the readme about the two geography files?

what mod are we discussing? Your OP is worded like unpacking vanilla and where they are hidden.

I'm talking about Vanilla, I simply want to remove the priest limit.

Those geography files unless deleted will crash your battles.

Which are the ones I delete them? I noticed it had something to do with the battleground, it was black for 1 second right after starting the battle and then crashes.

Yes, delete them. Time stamps are wrong and CA released it this way, anyway. Another CA "don't care" or they'd fixed it before releasing the patch instead of a line in the readme about it.

Great, I will do that, but can you give me a light on why I still can't recruit endless priests, if I changed the limit in all catholic buildings?

Oh, sorry, I didn't realise you had answered my post there, I answered too, care to take a look? Or if you prefer to directly answer here, I said it's the overall limit of priests, not limit per turn.

As far as I know htere is none until the ui memory bites you and crashes the game. I have found that a total of about 200 agents and family members the family scroll and agent scroll goes crazy. I have also found about 200 to 210 is about max recruitment before things start to happen.
CA gave us the way to open the slots and to have very large extended families but never opened the memory to match. I'm betting it's the 4gb 32bit ceiling even though I don't have the tolls or the expertise to prove it.

Oh no! I meant the limit due to settlements, because I'm playing a Papal States campaign, and I want to keep as the Papal States were, only Rome, but I captured Ajaccio to have a castle as well, and I want to have more than 2 priests, I'm not talking about the overall limit by total units, but the overall limit on settlements, I currently can only recruit 2.

I'm sure you could do it with a hidden resource to limit which castle/city can get a small chapel/small church. This will limit priest ability there. Also look in missions and guilds. there are possibly other files, too.

Limit which castle/city can get a small chapel? But how would that help me? I want to increase the limit per city, not reduce the cities that can hire.

In EDB you can set the amount of priests you can recruit. There is another file that sets how many per turn of which escapes me at the moment.

No, it's not the hiring limit, it's the current agent limit, I can only have 2, I want to have 50.

The only places I know off hand are:
    EDB
    decsr_faction_standing
    decsr_cultures
    descr_characters

Did you delete the map.rwm and start a new campaign? May sound dumb but I always have to.
