TE and expansions?

ok i got bored and wanted alexander, so ive uninstalled everything,, RTW, TE, BI, everything, and just reinstalled it all and patched it all up, and got alexander, so now im wondering if i get TE now, will the other games still work?

You can play Alexander if you have TE installed(its what i've got installed atm and it works fine).
