Can't take Gotland! Is that a bug?

Hi everybody,


Since I finished the second rebellion and beat each rebel army, I attacked all barbarians and now I rule the complete Germany and wanna kill all traitor by taking Gotland. But I can't attack the city, although I could once with another savegame (perhaps not with RS 2.6).


Could anyone help me? Do I have to wait a specific date to attack this settlement? Or to edit something in the script? Or is that totaly impossible?

I play RS 2.6 with Rome in 0 turn.

did you ever hear of roman rebels in gotland?
no, it´s not meant to be conquered. don´t know if the game ctd if you do so, as the second rebelion already take place.

Gotland is the last region of the Roman Rebels. It was made unconquerable in 2.6, because there are reports that it can lead to a fatal CTD when you play as the Romans and conquer it. So it's useless...

Think of it as 'Atlantis' - it's just a ghost you see, a mythological place where there be dragons. Think of it like the Lost World - surrounded by mountains and cliffs and only accessible using a WWI German U-boat, whilst being chased by a kraken and only, absolutely only, if Doug McClure is on board.

If you take out the end limit, play for an additional 2000 turns or so and unlock the Industrial Revolution, then there is a slim chance that the McClure character will spawn at the right time. Remember, if you forget just once to run the script - it won't happen.

btw way - we (in germany) still pay sekt-tax for this sunken waste of steel...
