    Default Anabasis Realistic Campaign Movement for DeI

    Introduces more realistic movement rates for land and sea forces for DeI. Increases size of zones of control and reinforcement radius. Increases the movement cost of embarking and landing troops at a beach. Should work for a wide range of other 4TPY mods.

    The land forces can now cover realistic distances for a 4 month turn in normal march. Zones of Control are larger and reinforcement range should allow forces in the same region to reinforce each other except for very large regions.

    Added Ant's forced march and double time fix. The AI should now avoid force marching everywhere.

    Added seasonal movement penalties.

    If I have time this week, I will try to deal with season effects. They should be drastic. This might just create a real campaign season.

    Will this require a new campaign?

    Yes, I did mean 3 months.

    I can't think of why it wouldn't be save game compatible. Let me know if it works.

    A note about fleets. For some reason, the fleets you begin with in the campaign have the same normal movement rates as in regular DeI and somewhat extended forced march range. Any new fleet you recruit has the extended movement ranges. I have not been able to solve this problem yet. There are some strange things about fleets. For example, they don't seem to use the travel cost values for water terrain that are specified in the DB. I'll keep trying to solve this. Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks for this mod it really helps with the enemy force marching everywhere since the bigger reinforcement ranges seem to help with that.

    I think the zones of control might be a bit too much though.... apollina and brundisium are so close together that when one attacks the other the garrison joins in. don't really like that.

    That is controlled by reinforcement radius rather than zone of control. On a three month scale, I think it is realistic to think that you are attacking an entire region rather than a single settlement. It does require a different approach. Remember that the player also benefits from this effect.

    It's good for land battles yes but to think that a garrison would travel over sea to fight on another continent is a bit much imo.

    Updated with seasonal movement penalties in spring (light), fall (medium) and winter (heavy).
