To Find a Wolf
Merean waits among the armed with her were wood bow and a short spear. Her brown and green close designed to blend in to the surrounding marsh. At her side Artos Stark's White Wolf lay curled. She brought with her few men. They had a goal to move quickly. Beron had not been seen in many years but there was still a chance he was out there. She moved quickly a Stark needed to be found. She thought back to the oath she swore when she was a girl. Her first time in Winterfell the castle seemed so impressive. The massive walls had seemed unassailable and the Stark line seemed strong. However the years had not been kind on the family. Now it was her mission to ensure it survived. That Winterfell survived. She lay in wait for the mountain clansmen to arrive as promised.

Re: To Find a Wolf
About an hour later, a rider was seen heading for where Lady Merean stood, his appearance unfamiliar though bearing the colors of House Voskari. A short distance away, he stopped his horse and held up his hand in greeting to introduce himself.
- "Greetings, Lady Merean? I am Ser Seigram, Lord Simeon sent me to assist you."
He looked young, an old horizontal scar located right under his eye, and his armor was crude, yet effective enough to repel most attacks. His sword was slightly more elaborate, but nothing that might show it was of better quality than any other weapon of its kind. There was something about his appearance that made him easily forgotten or overlooked, and had he stood in a line among soldiers one would be hard pressed to pick him out of the group, which had earned him the title 'the Faceless'. He didn't mind though, he'd allow them their amusement as long as they got the job done, and they knew it.

ooc @ LD we are heading towards Harrenhal to look for clues. He was last seen there so it is a starting place.
@ hengest yeah that way mods know if and how they can give us clues

Merean stepped out of the reeds and went to shake the mans hand. Knights in the north were rare enough however knights among the mountain clansmen were almost unheard of. About ten Crangomen accompanied lady Merean as well as the wolf.
"Ser Seigram it is a pleasure." She says. The men around her nod. "We make for Harrenhal and I wish to be there by morn. We must move quickly. Did you bring any men with you?"

Re: To Find a Wolf
Seigram shook his head in response.
- "None. According to Lord Simeon you did not wish for additional riders, so i assumed you wanted to remain unnoticed."
Behind him though, a second rider could be seen in the distance, carefully hiding during the approach though the brown plate stuck out from the snow like a sore thumb, even behind the tree the rider had stopped behind.

"Yes speed is paramount." She says while signaling to two of her men.
They go into the marsh and appear later near the distant figure.
It is lead forward. "And it seems ser you have a shadow." she says smiling warmly as the figure approaches.

Re: To Find a Wolf
Seigram frowned for a moment before turning around, now spotting the shadow as well. Rather than be alarmed though, he took a deep breath and groaned, softly pinching the bridge of his nose as he recognized that specific suit of armor. After a moment to collect himself, he spoke loud enough for the shadow to hear.
- "Lady Tyrene, you know you're going to get in trouble doing this, right? And me along with you?"
The shadow visibly winced even from that distance, and a few seconds later she led her horse in a slow trot up to the two, shoulders slumped apologetically at having been caught.

Merean smiles at the girl in an attempt to lift her spirits.
Saying to Seigram, "She may come along if she wishes Siegram. If your father asks I will take the blame."
Turning to Tyrene she continues. "We will be moving quickly though are you up for it?"

Re: To Find a Wolf
Seigram murmured his reply softly, not wanting Tyrene to overhear.
- "I can't send her back, her father would have my hide if something happened to her. But if she learns this she'll just do it more often."
Tyrene did perk up at Lady Merean's offer to shoulder the blame for her, though part of her silently wondered if Lady Merean knew what she was getting herself into. Still, she gave a quick nod in response to her question before removing her helmet to reveal her face.
- "I am... So what are we going to do now, anyway? I saw Seigram sneaking out so i got curious and followed him here."

Re: To Find a Wolf
Merean chuckles softly. It was something she would of done when she was younger.
"We are attempting to find Lord Beron Stark. Where ever he is he is needed now. There must always be a Stark in Winterfell."
Turning to one of her men she says "Go to Shadowmoor and tell Lord Volaski his Daughter is safe and I will watch over her."
Now turning around back to Siegram she smiles. "Do not worry Seigram. We have a job to do and if the girl wants to help let her come."

Re: To Find a Wolf
MoonGarm bustled through the bracken and appeared by Tyrene's horse, sniffing her leg, before trotting ahead to walk parallel with Merean. The she-wolf was excited, she sensed what the expedition was about and would use all her senses and cunning to find her old master.

Re: To Find a Wolf
Tyrene was a little reluctant to have MoonGarm sniff her leg, but if Seigram and Lady Merean weren't giving it any notice then she would behave as if it was a completely normal thing as well. She still looked a little nervous, and glad that she still wore the rest of her armor just in case the wolf would bite, but it seemed like her suspicions were unfounded. As MoonGarm trotted off, she nudged her horse to join the group and match the pace they were setting.
Seigram had been a little wary of the wolf, but had managed to hide his feelings well enough not to have them be noticed. Simeon had mentioned something about a wolf joining them already, and he assumed from the lack of alarm that this would be the one, though Tyrene was unlikely to know it. Good. Hopefully it would keep her in line. He turned his horse around to follow Lady Merean, enjoying the rare silence from the rider behind him.

Merean leans down and scratches the wolf sensing her companions discomfort.
"Do not worry he will not bite." Signaling she and her men move out wolf and men in tow.
"We must reach Harrenhal. Any clues that may remain could quickly vanish."

Re: To Find a Wolf
Both Seigram and Tyrene nod in confirmation, and allow Lady Merean to lead the way. Seigram because he had been told to assist Lady Merean in her quest, and Tyrene due to her lingering sense of guilt that someone else would end up taking the blame for her actions.

Re: To Find a Wolf
It is a few hours before light begins to fade. As dusk settles over the small band Merean calls a halt. "We should probably stop for tonight and get some rest." She says looking at the tired group. They had finally made it to the mouth of the riverlands. Another few days and they would be in Harrenhal. The wolf wanders off to find some food.
A few of the men leave to hunt and set up camp however she calls Tyrene over to her.

Re: To Find a Wolf
Upon stopping to set up camp, Seigram started tending to the fire, heading off to gather wood dry enough to burn despite the snows close to omnipresent in the North. While he was occupied, though not without keeping at least one eye out for Tyrene's movements, the Lady in question heard Lady Merean call to her, and headed over to see what she wanted to talk about.

Re: To Find a Wolf
Tyrene seems glad for the normal conversation where she had expected to be questioned about her following Seigram, and replied accordingly.
- "Pretty good, when i sneak out alone there's no one to talk to, really. Not that i do that often... Much..."

Re: To Find a Wolf
She smiles trying to reassure the girl.
"You know I used to do the same thing when I was you age. I would always follow the groups heading out of Greywater Watch. I was always looking for an adventure." She smiles remembering. "How good are you with that Sword Tyrene?"
