I believe that certainly together they could have defeated Jaime as he is a fearless warrior and would not shrink from any battle no matter the poor odds. However to see him dying so early is just inconceivable.
If he could replay so that Jaime doesn't die but still is defeated I would be in favor of that
EDIT: In all honesty I dont see how this is fair to korps, Jaime is dead and he can do nothing s out it, what is the difference with lannisters forting off riverrun, I would like to move to add the one turn peace rule

I respect your point of view but Jaime was outnumbered and I pulled the forces from pink maiden and riverine to give burden an army to attack with.

i dont think the question really is if Bryden is a better general than Jaimie , but lorwise ,what where the force of Bryden and what where the force of Edmure , me i dont think they could have been able to beat him without the force of the North ,i think they where really outnumbered , if its the case then my vote goes for no , Lannister havent made any move yet , so i think we need to be really strick lorewise on the first turn , its my point of view but i will not fight for it , i respect the oposite opinion on that matter

My only issue is that Jaime died. I could see him captured or even injured. Dead? That is a hard thing to believe...

Also, how did you kill him? I can't view the pictures from my phone... Perhaps if you just drove him back that could work...

I haven't the slightest clue how he died but he did. I have tried the battle a couple of times and when I fight it he dies and his forces retreat back behind the Golden Tooth.

Can an admin check the battle as well its not fair to korps that his best general dies turn one before he can do anything about it, once again why do we not have the one turn peace rule. I would like to move that we add that.

i know in the game the have suficent force but i mean , lorewise , i dont think they have sufisent force, like i said its because its the first turn and the position of Jaimie didnt depend of Lannister decision that i vote no on that ,i think the more the game will move on the Lore will be less and less important ,but even if you can atack on the first turn , i dont think we should be able to do thing that the character in the book would not have been able to do , not in the first turn atleast, later if you are a better general then the character in the book, i understand , but i think if Bryden would have been able to beat Jaimie , he would have actully , beat him. so my vote is no.

I have figured out why Jaime dies. When I fight with just Edmure and Byrnden it causes him to be defeated and retreat past Pinkmaiden but when I use Karl Vance and position to block the retreat that way it causes Jaime to die and for his army to be pushed instead to Golden Tooth. I do not believe this to be a bug, but if it is I will gladly replay the battle or the whole turn.

Perhaps the admin could move Jaime somewhere and remove some of the troops from his army to represent the defeat, or we could do the captured thing that was discussed.

As far as lore goes, it seems that if Jaime were to have been trapped between the Blackfish and Edmure he might have lost, as Robb was able to defeat and capture him with Brynden's help, why not Edmure? The killing does seem a little much

I would settle for Jaime being captured and placed on an island as a prisoner as he was taken prisoner in lore!

poeple clearly dont understand my point, Bryden had no force before he meet Robb at Moat Cailin so no he could have not beat Jaimie with no force , even with his supepower

Ok I was able to not kill Jaime.. but I still think that the Black fish should stay near Robbs army until Robb reaches Riverrun as he became one of the leading adviosors to Robb.

I still need a few votes and I want to hear what korp has not say, he is Lannister after all.

I understand you and that is a valid point. I just think it also quite against the lore to simply expect me to fort off Riverun when I have a chance to eliminate to defeat Jaime and open up the Westernlands for attack just like what happened after Jaime was defeated in the book. I do not wish to be forced into forting simply because I am not allowed to attack a general whose army is right there and an immediate threat to me after this turn.

Edit: I understand he becomes one of Robb's leading advisers, but I hope I will not be expected to keep my best general near Robb at all times throughout this Hotseat.

But Edmure did not know Jaime was there... that is why he set his troops on the other side of Riverrun.

I suppose you are right, but can I really be expected to just play against lore and build a fort wall while I wait for stark to come. I can beat Jaime Lannister without Brynden I have tried this battle multiple ways. Its frustrating just to be expected to play so defensively when I am playing against Korps? I am expected to just sit here and wait while I twiddle my thumbs in the hope that Stark will lead the way. I understand this is a lore game hotseat but forting myself in is not lore. Edmure Tully led a battle and won on his own in the books so shouldn't I be able to do it now?

If I recall correctly Edmure only won a battle when he shot at Tywins army while they crossed a River

A battle won regardless of circumstance is still a victory but seriously how it lore for me to go a hide in forts? Please explain this as I am still quite frustrated.

Also thank you for pointing out that he beat Tywin because that allows me to say that he could beat Jaime! Tywin is a better general, commander, etc in lore.

I still like the idea of keeping Vance out of it and letting Jaime be captured rather than killed. It brings it closer to actual events as well...
