senate offices and AI romans
I just realise that in my current game whenever i spy on a roman general(controlled by the AI and unified rome) they have no senate offices. But the senate generals does.
and i realised i never pay attention to that so i don't remember how it was in my previous games.
So does the senate offices doesn't work for the romans when control by the AI or is it just happening that they haven't been elected to offices in that current game ?

Re: senate offices and AI romans
Depends on when you're spying on them. Early on, I wouldn't expect many to hold senate offices at all. Lord knows in all Roman games I play, it takes about 3-4 senate office assignments passing by before I any of my characters get assigned to anything.

It is 226BC and all the offices are hold by the senate generals.
Romans had expanded normally i would say,
so i guess they should have by now some of their generals holding offices ?
When i play as the romans by that time i already hold senate offices, that is why i find it strange.

Re: senate offices and AI romans
Did someone ever notice if AI romans get senate offices ?
As i have modded my game i just wonder if it is normal or if did something wrong that removed that feature.
The senate create generals all the time so they can fill the 6 offices and if i remember right it did not happens that way when i play as the romans.

Yes, and the AI always seem to get the senator offices more often than I do too. Damn rhetoricans.
Edit: Damn, thought you meant when playing as romans too. :tooth:

Re: senate offices and AI romans
During any and every Roman game I played, AI controlled characters are elected into the Senate. As Ghoulem said, I also find the other Roman factions getting Senate assignments earlier than me. Normaly, one character of both other Roman families is already in the Senate when my first character gets in.
