Question about mods which randomly stop working.
I use the Mod Manager by Mitch. I use rather a lot of mods, but something keeps happening which I do not understand.
Example: I am currently using DeI and a bunch of other mods, one of them is a sub mod which gives fire at will to Roman units with pila. This mod has no conflicts with any other mods, It was working perfectly. I then removed it for whatever reason, then when I tried to use it again it caused the game to crash. This isn't because of any updates to the game or to any of the mods, I'm certain of that, it just stopped working.
This has happened with a lot of mods that I've used, mods which have no conflicts, have worked perfectly and remain compatible.
Any ideas why?

Re: Question about mods which randomly stop working.
I've experienced a similar thing. Specifically what happened was I added a DB table into a mod I was already using to try and experiment with something. I made the changes I wanted to that table, and no other, and the game started fine but the didn't produce the effects I wanted. So I closed the game, deleted the table from the pack, saved it and tried to launch the game again, but now it just crashes the game every single time. Even with all other mods disabled it still crashes. I tried deleteing all tables from the pack to see if it would work, which it did. But it doesn't make any sense because before I added that first table everything was workng fine. And I never changed any of the other tables so I don't see how this even works out?
