How to edit Shield and armor values?

Can somebody please tell me, where I can find the shield and armor values? I found some armor values in the rome data pack, but I can't seem to change them.

In the 'data_rome2.pack' look for the following tables in the 'db' folder:
- unit_shield_types
- unit_arnur_types

In order to change the values you'll first have to extract these tables then create your own pack and import it back there. You'll be able to change the values then. Look around these forums you'll find plenty of guides how to do it.

It should also be added that you can create your own custom shield types for more depth to the defensive system.

Thanks for the help, but (at least for now) I will play arround a little with the shields that CA gave us.
