    Is it really necessary to download/subscribe to GEM in steam workshop, because i think authors use different versions of GEM, on steam its GEM 4.1 and i see Doktor1 and rest using 3.1 which differs in color settings, at least for me ...i am using 4.1 from steam shop, and after i use any of the presets i get whole other picture/colors.

    Also what other mods are you using with Sweet FX? Some darken the image in whole, like the better water HD - had to disable it.

    I am also wandering if HDR in sweet FX should be disabled (0) as it might interfere with the one game uses. And if NO HDR mod from steam shop should be used or not. Lot of unclear things. I am specifically having problems with HDR, same custom battle is sometimes too dark and sometimes too bright, like HDR living its own life.

    GENERAL PATTON: thanks man, the essence of these good uworked pics is certain: Doktor1 (not wip) gem-swfx sets....I would notice that I'm using them with the last version of GEM I subscribed in steam workshop

    So, LE FRED had this mod working with moving clouds, sunsets and sunrises going back to 8...I suppose, maybe when we'll have a stable patch 9 the mod will work, or will be fully adaptable to a finished, released patch...not sure if my logic is concrete but so I hope.

    Hi all!

    Been following this fantastic project for a while now, and thought it was high time to quit lurking and give some praise to Aztec and all the others who are contributing to it, carbide, doktor1 etc.

    Massive rep to you guys!

    The latest installment is definitely working with 8.1.

    Here are some screens (sorry for the quality!), nothing fancy, just a sunrise at sea and a quick succession of screenshots to confirm that the clouds are actually moving. Blows my mind!

    Stunnig work! Makes me load up random battles just to stare at the visuals.

    Can't wait for the new, colder climates, I'm especially looking forward to Aztec's take on snowy, foggy weather.

    This new weather patterns are great, as well as moving clouds, barelly noticable, as they should be, it's awesome Aztec. Hope to see MOAR soon ^_^

    I can't get it to work.

    Just as well, those extra white bright sunrises look so unrealistic.

    To each their own, but you can't deny that the overall quality of the entire picture is better, even if you don't like just one part of it.

    Yesterday came update and today too, but still this mod working about 50%. Someone should give current 1.8 for aztec/carbide to get this work.

    Carbide can update no problem as he stated that he had "auto" updates off.

    So unless both members work to the same game patch updates as we are all playing on I can only see problems ongoing with this mod not been compatible with each patch update that CA delivers!

    I MADE IT FOR 1.8 BRO ! I ADDED MY FILES TO 1.8 FILES
    BECAUSE OF MY PRIVATE PC PROBLEMS AND INTERNET SLOW I CAN NOT DOWNLOAD CESSAR DLC AND PATCH 8 !

    BUT THIS MOD CREATED ON PATCH 8 WHICH Carbide SENT TO ME !

    IT IS NOT RELATED TO MY DEAR COUNTRY !

    Ok mate point taken, and I am glad that you are now running your game all patched and updated.....

    Now the important stuff, how can I not replicate your screens of the moving clouds, sunset, sunrise and noon?? I have no mod conflicts and after 10 different battles in Africa, Rome and carthage my skies are the same??

    the values of moving clouds are added
    if you see sunrise , sunset ok this mod is working for you BUT moving clouds is in the same file by some values ! if that file works , why clouds never work for you ?
    all things together are in one file ! moving clouds is just one value and speed of their moving in the weather files!
    IT MUST WORK

    no idea about 50% for you yet ...

    I just let steam fully update Rome 2 (171.1 MB) I suppose from today's update and the one from a couple days ago. Everything is still working fine on my end. Getting the cloud movements and different skies. When you're looking for cloud movement it may help speed up the process a little by using fast forward. That makes the movements alot more noticeable. One thing I noticed is that my water is still the same clearness but aztec didn't make any mention in the first post of the fix being included with this update. Other than that its smooth sailing. I'm assuming you're using extreme on sky setting but I guess that really wouldn't affect anything other than visuals.

    Noif mentioned seeing the movement at one place then going back to it and not seeing it later. Aztec did mention that its affected by wind speed so those variables may be playing a role in that.


    Edit\ @Toon One other thing I would try which is probably a long shot but remove all mods and then 'verify integrity of game cache' and try again with just this mod installed.

    I didn't know if it was supposed to have been included in this recent update so I thought the water on my end might have been broken, but I see that it wasn't.

    Yahoo... I finally got it working this mod. Clouds are moving! Get different shapes and weathers (noon,sunset, etc)

    Damn Radious were updated his campaign mod as I though I have removed his season sub-mod to get this working. Now I made customized version from Radious campaign mod without season sub-mod. Rest in piece problems and welcome new enviroment v2!

    Is it with patch 8.1 or 8? I had to revert to 8 to get it working....but once done it is BEAUTIFUL so again AMAZING JOB AZTEC!!!!!
