In the case of noon or other times before evenings you should have the clouds aztec shows in his screens which isn't the case of 8.1patch and one needs to know which mods are enabled and if working. The bright sun and environment with other mods is achievable with the 8.0 patch... but you have to give up siege improvements included with 8.1 patch.
When I finish preset, I will share settings...

But you said to uncheck "unlimited video settings", if I do that, all my textures are very very ugly... Let it on. Without this option the game set some settings to low even if it's high in option menu.

thanks for your feedback, Noif, this is what I was arguing to understand. At now I enjoy the Doktor1's Gem settings, I really love them and they're not cpu heavy![]()
I have 2 issues:
1- Aztec mod doesn't work for me either, whatever trick i try, it seems it doesn't change anything (i do my test on Memphis map all the time).
2- Dokotr1 new settings are very very dark on my rig, even when i use only that gem settings (no other mods). Other sweetfx preset work very well..
I attach the gem / sweetfx settings, what's wrong with the files ??
I suggest someone who has it working (doktor1) just zips up and uploads their files, please.

Would only take 5 minutes then we can settle once and for all if it works for those saying it doesn't.
I installed GEM, applied Doktor1's settings, then installed this mod, and my screenshots look nothing like his.
Thus either there is something Doktor1 has forgotten, or I am making a mistake somewhere. Both would be solved for everyone by uploading your files.
Possibly Nvidia users have Nvidia Inspector tweaks on as well, as GEM mod recommends this.

Settings are on extreme, (SSAO/DOF/Vegetation Alpha - OFF), AA Off, AFx16 + FXAA forced in nvidia control panel, 1080p.
Ingame:
Gamma = 22, Brightness = 15
