help vs sabotague

the damned french keep destroying buildings in rennes through espionage...how do i combat this??

Place one of your spies/assassins in the city they keep sabotaging. You'll have a much greater chance of detecting them (and with a bit of luck, having them caught and executed). A nice addition is that if your spy or assassin stays in the same city long enough, the governor of that city will gain a trait which will give you +1 to detecting enemy spies (I think it's guard dog, or master of spies etc)
