I can't take ingame screenshots.Help needed.

First of all,I don't know if this is the correct place for this,but I don't know where else to post it.

I am currently creating my first mod and I want to start posting faction previews,but I can't take screenshots so it's impossible at the moment.I've tried everything that people have suggested on the internet but nothing works.I tried the print screen key and pasting in the "paint" program,but I keep getting a black square instead of the picture.I tried adding the " ne" in the end of the shortcut's line.I turned the anti aliasing off.I did everything that I found on google,but nothing works.How can I either fix this or take screenshots in other ways? And yes,I suck with technology and I know it,but I would really appreciate any help here.

Nah, I never liked steam screenshots, the quality isn't great and its a pain managing them, fraps its much better

well since its on steam, use their default screen capture hotkey: F12, however i'd change it to something easy like "\"
