How to make Caesar become Augustus

Hi, I love this mod. I am having a problem though. My former faction leader died and left behind two sons with the rank of Caesar, However, neither of them became Augustus. Does one of them have to die before my the other can become Augustus, or how does that work? BTW, I did not get the Imperial reforms yet so I figure this might just be some kind of bug. I just got the Marian reforms, and it was my Reformator who became Augustus.

Will one of his heirs trigger the Augustan reforms or could it be any general who meets the requirements?

Did you name one of them as faction heir?

http://www.europabarbarorum.com/features_traits.html i think you can find what event that triggers every trait in EB and in this case Augustus. I have not checked for that specific trait but its a good start for finding your answer.

It is not listed there. Yeah, he is the faction heir. Kaeso's grandsons are not even inheriting the Caesar trait.
