Screen splashes everytime.... Graphic problem?

I had installed this mod ss 6.4 yesterday and now, everytime I tried to adjust the video settings (not even made it through the "show detail") the game suddenly 'reset' itself back and forth. I have no problems whatsoever playing my campaign last night but now, I tried everything to fix this, including the UAC part. I have no errors in the system log so I don't what to do now. The game just keeps splashing itself until it freezes my desktop.

My video card is an AMD radeon HD 8650G 4gb

Well, I tried that and the problem persists, even I put every setting equal. Perhaps the resolution is over the limit. What was the game's maximum resolution can handle anyway? mine is 1600X900 btw.

Mine is 1680 x 1050, is fine, Open CFG file, check settings, it might be on read only, untick check box and change
