Default Variantmesh entries not displaying in game

I use steam Workshop for my mods. I tried to add some new entries to one of them (adding some helmets to the variantmeshes of some units) twice now and neither time have they worked... I go into the game and they still have their old setup. I don't know why this is happening since it was working fine before.

The mod in question is this, I tried to add 2 new helmets to certain units (silver shield pikes and foot companions for example) to get rid of the monotonous thracian helmets that they had before. But when I go into the game they still have their thracians and no phrygians or attics.

EDIT: According to a post on one of my other mods, none of them are compatible with patch 8... I need help with updating them. I don't know what to do to make them compatible.

It sounds like your definition files are referring to one of the out-dated rigid models... and if they are gone or changed names then it won't appear.

In PFM I'd load up models.rome2 and see if there is a new variantdefinition file you can reference from your main troop one.

Hmm can't edit. I meant to say, from your helmet variantdefinition file, find a valid rigidmodelv2 file that exists by checking what is current in models.rome2.
