Thanks Dresden! Works great. May I suggest army movement bonuses/penalties? I added them for my personal version of this mod, but I think it makes sense.

    Great work, much appreciated.

In the bottom right corner, next to the year date, you have an icon with the current season. So you have Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter in the main campaign. When its Winter and you are attacking, you have snow. In Autumn the leaves are brown and falling down and so on.
Those seasons are just present in battles and as the campaign icon. But you don't have it as a graphical season on the campaign map.

Also you can have special effects for your provinces, with unique bonuses and/or penalties, like for example
    Early Autumn:

    Late Autumn:

    Mild Winter

Right, so this mod just effects the battle map dependant on season then? No other effects except that? ( I say "just" and "except", which is not me being unappreciative, I just want to know all the mechanics it adds/effects to the main campaign).

@crackerjack yes we plan to add some effects, especially to winter.

Also planning on making provinces in south and north have differing versions of seasons.

I don'T have the CIG expansion ( Just not interested in the conquest of Gaul), so I don't know how many turns there are. Am I right that there are 2 turns per Season there, making 8 turns per year?

Edit: Bah, after the second time reading the DLC description i see the 24 turns per year thing^^

Is it possible to make the season mod with 24 Turn included?

If you use 4tpy you will get all 4 seasons in order.

If you use 2tpy you will get summer/winter.

    Great. Are movement penalties integrated?

What are the effects on game performances ?
CA told us several time that adding seasons to the main campaign would have lead to performance issues, one of the reason why they would have decide to remove this feature.

EDIT : sorry, I've read the OP too quickly, the mod didn't add graphical effects, the main source of performance issues

When I click on show under "mod information", there is nothing showing up? I just want to know if the mod removes perma-attrition in certain regions after seasons have been implemented?

Does one need to have Caesar in Gaul for this mod?

Edit: Nvm, found out by starting up the game that it isn't necessary to own Caesar in Gaul. Great work as always Dresden!

Its a great mod, adding a lot of flavor to the game!

    Few suggestions:

    - i think at this point, summer and winter attrition zones are pointless. It would be probably better to completely remove them if they cannot be made to be only applied during winters/summers.
    - maybe a bit higher movement penalties should be applied to harsh conditions. Winter overall should restrict movement a lot, but bad winter should probably stop any movement in that province.

    keep up good work

Dresden, does DeI use the most up to date version of this mod, and if it doesn't yet, will loading this over the DeI version cause any problems? Thanks!
