Default Hyrule Warriors (New Zelda game, apparently)

Notice the Hylian soldiers (I presume) fighting with him. Also notice how incredibly easy it looks. It's a spin-off btw, but looked moderately interesting. Finally note how Hyrule Total War comes up before Hyrule Warriors on Google. That'll probably change as more people find out about the game, but it might cause some new people to discover Hyrule Total War. Even typing in "Hyrule War" gets "Hyrule War Mod".

It involves large scale warfare thought, even if it's just one green guy against hundreds Dodoblins.

It isn't like HTW at all. Not a thing is similar other than both being on a larger scale. I don't know why you keep trying to suggest the two are somehow related or similar. If anything this is a Zelda version of Dynasty Warriors.

Good for you; TV Tropes terminology. Explained, this is when something normal is made funny by unexpected later events. In this case, it was hilarious to see Nintedo announcing a game like this after HTW.

Dinasty of hyrule?, oh wait, i see now: Hyrule(Dynasty) warriors. Is it a mod of something or an individual game? It seems hilarious to me, but i dont think it will be that great unless they include most faction or all the factions that HTW has.

It's an entire game on the Wii U. It's not drawing any development resources away from the actual Wii U Zelda game we were (I hesitate to actually use the word) promised because Koei is developing this one instead.

I know it's very early, but I'm more interested in seeing if they actually make an Empires edition, as with the main Dynasty Warriors franchise.

It's an official Zelda game by Nintendo, not a mod or a fan project. But it is a spin off from the main franchise.

I don't think this is in response to Hyrule Total War, though. Nintendo, Reggie in particular, has gone on record several times (the most recent at VGX) to state that Nintendo doesn't give a flying about their fans and they just do whatever they want.

My comment was a reaction to the suggestion that this game was a response to HTW (as both me and IAmNotShazam thought you meant) and all my comment stated is that such a conclusion makes no sense because no significant similarities exist. Then you had to go and take offense and start calling me close minded and try to adopt an attitude of superiority.

But it still looked superficially similar for me, which is sufficient to make a connection. And no, it doesn't have to be a direct response to HTW for it to count.

Your mentality appears more closed than mine; I think It's like you always choose to accentuate the negative. I guess your interests lie in the opposite direction.

If we start talking about superiority (or accusing people of invoking it) we won't ever get out of it; I just told you that you mostly oppose to what I say by listing the contros, and that's just my impression.

I didn't even say "Closed minded", I said "More closed minded than me". I said that because I'm trying to be straight and confrontational with you, not the opposite.

That said, there's no need to fight for my simple TV Tropes reference.

This game isn't like Hyrule total war I would agree. But their are some things somewhat similar.

For one, Link if fighting large groups of enemy soldiers are once.
For two, tons of soldiers of Hyrule are fighting with Link, Link isn't doing all the work in this.

While it is in Skyward Swords art style and the soldiers of Hyrule look nothing like they have in past games (although they do look similar to many medieval soldiers) I like how the scale is larger and how Hyrule's military is actually doing something. (and yay for large scale Hyrule castle town!)

I approve, though I hope the soundtrack is nothing like the awful music in that trailer.

As far as my experience with Tecmo Koei games goes, they have a tendency towards electric and rock but are fully capable of mixing in other types of music and using a fair variety of instruments, more-so in some subseries than others. Still, most of it is what some would call "high energy" or "excited" music.

I haven´t played any dynasty warriors since 4th but, in my own opinion, i think that one of few things that make the Dynasty warriors games great is their variety in factions and playable characters; it would be interesting how many playable character there would be and how many factions could there be to play (if it is going to be more than just the "hero" one). I don´t know how are they planning Hyrule warriors to be, but i think it should have many option to play with if they intend to make a game that doesn´t get boring too fast

I don't think they will have multiple factions. My guess would be, they will have good versus evil. Just like most Zelda games. They may give you the option to play Zelda or Link though. Nintendo tends to make Zelda games not to there full potential. Other wise we would have Zelda games as great in detail as Final Fantasy and Skyrim. And yes, it does look like a Zelda Dynasty Warriors game. Which would be awesome to play. But we could be hoping for too much, if we think they are going to have all the features of a Dynasty Warriors game, let alone a Dynasty Warriors Kingdoms game.

    But, Nintendo May surprise me.
