You know you bought a piece of game... but what's really sad is the strategy Ca is using. 40% of their budget went directly towards fanboy pockets.... that's just obvious. I made a post insulting you puppets that bought cesar in gaul and I get messaged saying "hey I bought the game just to spite you, good job u just made Ca a sale, how does it feel." That makes no sense? If this person really bought the game just to spite me I think it's safe to say we're heading down a deep dark path and no way out of it. This is the end of commercial gaming as we know it.
I mean come on... barrages of posts stating not to buy the game in an effort to communally make the main game better, how can you mess this up?
But you still buy it... and I don't care if it was really worth it, they still don't deserve a penny milked from this crap. You are encouraging CA to sell their games in pieces, don't you get it. There is a MAJOR campaign to promote the game, especially on the forums, people swear this is the best game they've ever played.
The conspiracy seems comical, but tell me something. Where, oh where did that 40% budget go? To the 1-2 commercial ads I've never seen outside of youtube?
Or better they threw all their money at teams of people who come online for hours at a day, (not playing rome 2 themselves) but rather rejoicing in it's name. These kids don't actually play the game it's obvious because they are the first people to post on your topic, immediately attempting to debunk your theory in a single straw man sentence, (usually a run off.) They can't even articulate themselves that well, especially when their mind is so busy with the obstacle of having to actually call this game "amazing."
My message is clear: don't believe when they say it' the best game they ever played, assume it's another marketing strategy Ca so typically turns to. Promoting the game anecdotally is a small stones throw from hyping us up about it initially and giving us... well you know.
